If you’re reading this, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to do so.  I know I’m taking time out of my extremely busy schedule right now because I should be coding instead of writing.

I wanted to take this time though to instead welcome everyone to my new blog here on BuyRIC.com and provide updates that go longer than Twitter’s 140-character limit.  A venue such as this one that we have powered by Tumblr will give you a deeper feel into what, not only myself, but also the entire BuyRIC.com team is working towards right now – and that’s a unique approach to localized content.

On May 18, 2012, BuyRIC.com went dark for the first time in our company’s near three-year history.  We decided that simply producing content and marketing real estate wasn’t good enough anymore.  We needed to create a system that fundamentally changes the way you discover this content rather than a traditional streamline that pushes content into an archive that may have still been relevant today.

To do this, we will be introducing related places and businesses to the new BuyRIC.com, which will help bind everything into a new localized hub, known as our Directory.  That’s right, the BuyRIC.com Directory will make a return on the new website, but in a totally new fashion.  We took the old system and decided it wasn’t good anymore, so we scrapped it and started from scratch, and I think you will all be very impressed with what we have come up with.  We’re working very hard on it right now.

As you know, we originally were going to re-launch BuyRIC.com on July 1, but to release the new BuyRIC.com in its most complete form with our ambition goals in mind, we announced on June 27 that the date has been pushed back to August 2012.  Maybe assumed by some as a setback, but that’s just it, an assumption.  We know where we’re heading and that’s to become the number one Vancouver Real Estate Magazine and Directory at BuyRIC.com.

I have no problem making that proclamation because I believe it will happen.  The time and effort that it’s taking us to turnover the new BuyRIC.com will show its worthiness once released in August and I am confident you will all share that same view.

The story of BuyRIC.com since its inception in November 2009 has been one of building blocks and come August 2012, we will begin our next chapter of now using everything we’ve built to be real estate’s number one source for localized content marketing in Vancouver.
